The Asian private equity & venture capital market continues to grow and develop. According to the latest report from Preqin, Asia-based fund managers identified fundraising as the key challenge facing the region at present, with 59% highlighting this as one of their key concerns as seen in the chart below. Fund managers are reportedly finding it more challenging to raise capital, with 63% stating that they believe the level of competition for investor assets has increased from 12 months ago.
